Tyrone JonesTyrone Jones was a dominant player in the Canadian Football League and was a fan favourite for the 9 years that this fierce linebacker played. What Cancer Cannot Do
Cancer is so limited, It cannot cripple love, It cannot shatter hope, It cannot corrode faith, It cannot destroy peace, It cannot kill friendship, It cannot suppress memories, It cannot silence courage, It cannot invade the soul, It cannot steal eternal life, It cannot conquer the spirit.

I met Tyrone and James West several years ago, after a practise. I was probably
about 8 at the time but he took the time to talk and joke around with us, He and
James left a mark on me. Being the big star at the time and taking the time to
not only sign an autograph for me but to get us laughing and bot rush right off
made a huge impact in my life. I compare all sports stars now to those memories,
and I think he was not only a remarkable football player but a great role model
I feel honored to have ever met him. I would love to see Tyrone make it to the
CFL hall of fame he is one of those indivuals who TRUELY deserves it.

I never had the privilege to meet Tyrone but I did spend a lot of time at
practices and games watching his great talent, ability and commitment to
Winnipeg and the Blue Bomber football club.
Without a doubt, Tyrone was the
ultimate linebacker and team mate and those of us who watched him play, were
privileged.
My sympathies and prayers to the Jones family. Tyrone will always
be remembered and appreciated.

Blessings

I don't recall anybody ever having anything bad to say about Tyrone. All reports
was that he was a good all around guy.

His football talents spoke for
themselves. He was one of the all time CFL great players.

We share your
loss.

I hope the Bombers sent the family game tapes. I know they have they
have copies of most games since I provided them copies back in 2006.

I would like to thanks everyone for the kind words about my "DAD"
To
My "DAD"
I could not promise you painless days or tearless nights for
we promised each other truth. I could not promise you a lifetime we knew
reality. I could not promise you fortune for we promised each other all we had.
I could not promise you freedom from fear or pain because promises of everything
usually add up to nothing and we promised not to make promises we could not
keep..therefor all we promised each other "DAD" was our unconditional
LOVE.
I miss you "DAD", Tyler #35
